The Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) with the aim of updating and refreshing knowledge on Geography Information System (GIS) and its Military Application, Mess Accounts, Military Correspondence, General Law, Rules of Engagement and a few Indoor and outdoor games during 8 - 10 December conducted a three-day long workshop for middle-grade officers serving the Wanni at the SFHQ-W premises.
Organized as directed by Major General Champaka Ranasinghe, Commander SFHQ-Wanni, it was conducted by well-qualified officers and instructors of the Army. 61 middle-grade officers were benefited during the sessions at the workshop.
Major General Manjula Kariyawasam, General Officer Commanding, 56 Division later on joined the 'Diners Club' arrangement after the workshop where a special address was also made.
