SFHQ-KLN Conducts Awareness Programme on Drug Prevention

Troops at the Security Forces Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), organized an awareness programme on ‘Drug Prevention” on the directions of the Commander of the Army and the Directorate of Psychological Operations.

Troops at the SFHQ-KLN in a bid to enlighten the troops on the “Dangerous Drugs Prevention” launched the 2 day-long awareness programme during February 18-19 at Nelumpiyasa auditorium, SFHQ -KLN and 65, 66 Divisional HQs respectively.

During the programme, several lecture sessions and activities were conducted while educating soldiers on the prevention from use of alcohol and drugs.

A gathering of 600 military personnel listened to the lecture in all three places.

Mr Indika Rajapaksha, senior Programme Officer and Mr Mahesh Nissanka of Alcohol and Drug Information Centre (ADIC), Colombo conducted the programme.
