SFHQ -J Conducts an Educational Session for Selvapuram and Yogapuram Villages

Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna organized an educational session at CIMIC Park of 51 Infantry Division on 02 April 2024, featuring Professor K. Paheerathen from the University of Jaffna and Mrs. Paheerathen.

The session aimed to groom residents in Selvapuram and Yogapuram villages, covering topics like the history of Jaffna, the importance of education and parental roles in child grooming. This interactive session provided valuable motivation and knowledge to the attendees, tailored to their understanding.

As a gesture of support, Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, donated a bicycle to a talented child of a low income family.

The General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and nearly 400 villagers participated in this invaluable education session.
