The Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ -E) on Thursday (18) vested the newly-constructed officers' accommodation building in the Officers during a simple opening ceremony.
Major General S R K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces-East graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The residential quarters of the officers, a long-felt need in the compound has 8 rooms, equipped with all facilities.
3 Corps of Engineer Services (CES) troops within a few months completed the project.
Staff Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of 3 Corps of Engineer Services were associated with the opening ceremony.
