SFHQ-C Conduct “Shramadana” Campaigns in Response to Request

Several formations under the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) conducted two “Shramadana” campaigns during 22-24 October.

Troops of 122 Brigade conducted a “Shramadana” campaign to clean up the surroundings of Diyabendi Viharaya on 22 October under the instructions of Colonel K.A.D.K. Kottewatte, Commander, 122 Brigade.

Similarly, troops of the 12 Division conducted a “Shramadana” campaign to clean up the surroundings at Sri Sumedharama Buduraja Vehera Pirivena on 24 October on the instructions of Major General P.R.H. Dias, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division.

Troops of the 2 (V) SLSR cleaned the Athulgama Purana Viharaya, Thalathuoya premises on Thursday (22).

In the meantime, troops of the 22 SLNG assisted the construction activities of the wall of the Bodhiya at the Kalpawuksha Viharaya, Nallathanniya.
