Intelligence troops of 7 Military Intelligence Corps (7 MIC) on information with Kantale Policemen apprehended a suspect with 60 mg of “Methamphetamine” (Ice) and another suspect with 04g of Cannabis (Kerala Ganja) while being taken for sale on Sunday (25).
Both of them were handed over to the Police for further investigations.
Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi, Commander Security Forces - East, Major General Saliya Amunugama, General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, together with Brigadier Nalaka Malsinghe, Commander, 222 Infantry Brigade gave necessary guidance and Lieutenant Colonel J.L.N Silva, Commanding Officer, 7 MIC, closely supervised the troops.
