MULLAITTIVU: SEVENTY-NINE more trapped civilians on Monday (11) escaped LTTE terror grip and ended up at troops manning a security point at KARAYAMULLIVAIKKAL and MULLIVELI areas in the New Safety Zone.
The group included twenty-six children and nineteen women. Troops after receiving them directed them to temporary shelters in VAVUNIYA with coordination of government authorities.
