On account of the Poson Full Moon Poya Day (24), Officers and Other Ranks of the Headquarters 51 Division in Kopay, Jaffna launched a community care programme and donated dry ration packs and lunch packets to needy people in the area.
These lunch packs (300) and dry ration parcels were distributed among underprivileged families living in Selvapuram village in Jaffna.
The project was launched on the instruction of General Officer Commanding 51 Division Major General Deepal Pussella.
