SCC & JCC Graduates at Army War College Receive Graduation

118 Officers who completed the Senior Command Course - 06 (SCC) and Junior Command Course - 25 (JCC) at the Buttala Army War College (AWC) received their graduation during a simple ceremony at the AWC auditorium on Saturday (03).

Brigadier Manada Yahampath, Commandant, AWC, attended the occasion as the Chief Guest and awarded their certificates of graduation. During the programme, 32 student officers of the Senior Command Course - 6 and 86 student officers of the Junior Command Course - 25 including one Bangladeshi officer and two Pakistani officers received their certificates of graduation amid applause.

The Commandant conveyed his warm wishes to each and every graduate soon after the graduation ceremony.

Following officers received the highest aggregate in each course;

Senior Command Course - SCC

 First in order of merit - Major H. N. N. K Hettiarachchi MIC

 Second in order of merit - Major M. K. D. P. P. K Kankanige SLSR

 Third in order of merit - Major P. H. N. K Ariyarathna GR

Junior Command Course - JCC

 First in order of merit - Major D. T. R Danthanarayana SLAC

 Second in order merit - Major E. M. H. R Ekanayake SLLI

 Third in order of merit - Major A. M Ranawaka MIC
