A simple ceremony was held at the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) to hand over the refurbished Corporals’ club to the Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs) on Wednesday (28).
Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) graced the re-opening ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion. Later, Security Force Commander and other invitees joined lighting the traditional oil lamp. The ceremony concluded with a tea party organized by the NCOs.
The Club House is comprised of a TV lounge, Bar and comfortable seating arrangements to cater to all NCOs. Engineer Service Regiment together with all ranks of the HQ contributed in refurbishing the building on the directions of the Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi attended the occasion.
