SRI LANKAN patriots run “Ranaviru Fund” organization with the help of contributions received from patriotic Sri Lankans around the world recently donated valuable medical equipment worth over Rs. 1.3 million to the Colombo Military Hospital.
The donated equipment included a defibrillator, a pulse Oximeter and a Cardiac-patient monitor are to be commissioned shortly in the new Operation Theatre at the Military Hospital. All accessories and equipment were formally handed over to the Director Army Medical Services, Brigadier S H Munasinghe and Commanding Officer of the Military Hospital Colombo, Colonel K P Sumathipala by Ms. Hiranya Malawana, a representative for ‘Ranaviru Fund’ in Sri Lanka.
