Brigadier Sujeewa Perera of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) assumed office as the new Director Quality Assurance and Inspection at the Army Headquarters during a brief formal ceremony on Monday (13).
He succeeds Major General Priyantha Dissanayake who has now been appointed as the Commander, Forward Maintenance Area -Central.
Brigadier Sujeewa Perera on arrival at the new office symbolically placed his signature for an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office. Prior to this appointment, Brigadier Sujeewa Perera was serving as Commander, 591 Infantry Brigade.
Staff Officers at the Directorate of Quality Assurance & Inspections were present at the inauguration of his new office.
