One more awareness lecture on ‘Illegal Social Activities’ was recently conducted by the Directorate of Psychological Operations of the Army at the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Regimental Headquarters main auditorium.
This programme was held for 11 Officers and 187 other ranks as the second phase of the series of programmes being conducted for Army personnel.
The first phase was recently conducted for all Commanding Officers and Regimental Sergeant Majors in the Army on the instructions of the Commander of the Army.
Directorate of Preventive Medicine & Mental Health Service, Directorate of Legal and Alcohol & Drug Information Centre (ADIC) gave their assistance to conduct this programme.
Lieutenant Colonel J.A.U.J.C Jayasuriya, serving in the Directorate of Preventive Medicine & Mental Health Service and Major S.A Gunawardana of the Directorate of Legal conducted lectures. Mr Amaranaththenna from the ADIC also attended the occasion.
