Psy Ops Goes to SFHQ-KLN for Awareness Programme

One more awareness programme on ‘Drug Prevention’ was conducted by the Directorate of Psychological Operations of the Army at the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ- KLN) during 2-4 October.

This ‘Drug Prevention’ programme of the series of awareness programmes focused on Army personnel, serving at Battalion, Brigade and Division levels at the SFHQ-KLN.

A total of 1700 Army personnel from 57,66 and 65 Divisions and Forward Maintenance Area - Kilinochchi (FMA-KLN) participated in the three – day long programme which was conducted under two sessions at the Nelumpiyasa Auditorium and the 65 Division Headquarters respectively.

Lecture assistance to the programme was provided by Mr Suchintha Dasun and Mr Supun Udana from National Dangerous Drug Control Board (NDDCB), Sri Lanka with the coordination of the Directorate of Psychological Operations.
