An awareness programme, titled ‘Geethaya Thulin Eya Dakimu’ organized by the Directorate of Psychological Operations (Psy Ops) was held at the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) headquarters on Wednesday (23).
The lecture was focused on how life challenges of a woman could be overcome during her life span from her birth to death and how life could be lived satisfactorily with the resources one possesses.
Several resource persons from the Ministry of Women's and Child Affairs conducted the lecture with assistance of classical and relaxing music, provided by SLSC musicians.
Ministry's Deputy Director Ms Anula Indrani, Ms K.G.G. Roshani de Silva, Mr R.M.A Nimalsiri, and Ms Rasika Jayaweera from the Ministry provided lectures and made it interesting.
10 Officers and 230 Other Rankers listened to the lecture.
