Provost Marshal Undertakes Formal Visit to 3 SLCMP Camp

The Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General A.C.A De Zoysa USP HDMC Lsc, made his maiden visit to the 3 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) at Galkulama on 24 April 2023.

Major M.D.S.U.K Weerasinghe USP psc, the Commanding Officer, 3 SLCMP warmly welcomed Major General A.C.A De Zoysa USP HDMC Lsc on arrival. Afterwards, a group photograph was taken to mark his official visit to the location, followed by planting of a sapling inside the camp compound.

Later the Provost Marshal addressed the troops elaborating on role and tasks of Military Police duties in a professional manner before he undertook a camp visit to inspect the facilities where he interacted with the troops.

Next, the Commanding Officer conducted a comprehensive briefing on the operational status of the unit where the Provost Marshal shared his views with all Officers who perform duties in the 3 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. Before concluding the day’s itinerary, the Provost Marshal left a couple of thoughts and compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
