14 kids and teachers at ‘Jana’ Pre School in Periyasaambalan village of Thaddiyamalai Grama Seva Division were treated to a sumptuous lunch by the 643 Brigade troops of the 64 Division as one of their community-concerned projects on Tuesday (22).
The Commanding Officer of the 13 Sri Lanka National Guard of the 643 Brigade closely supervised and attended the treat. Many of those kids in the pre-school were from low-income group families.
The Commander of the Security Forces - Mullaittivu, Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe and the General Officer Commanding of the 64 Division, Major General Upul Weerakoon and Brigadier Tiral De Silva, Commander of the 643 Brigade gave their blessings for the project.
Few Officers and Other Ranks joined the community project.
