A programme to donate coconut seedlings and bicycles for deserving families and school children in Jaffna got underway at the Karugampanai Cultural Centre in Jaffna on Sunday (20).
The donation programme was organized by the 513 Brigade on the directions of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna. The donations were made available by the members in the Lawyers’ Association of Negombo. Donation benefited 80 school children and deserving families.
Commander Security Forces – Jaffna, Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the donation programme.
