Patients in the East Given Blood

More than 150 Officers and Other Ranks of the 22 Division Headquarters on Wednesday (17) voluntarily came forward to donate blood for use of patients in the Trincomalee Hospital after a request to this effect was made to the 22 Division by Dr R.A Devarajah in charge of the Blood Blank in Trincomalee Hospital.

The programme organized with the blessings of the Commander, Security Forces-East was conducted under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Division, Major General Aruna Jayasekara at the 22 Division Headquarters premises.

A team of Medical Officers and paramedics supported the arrangement.
