With the aim of giving mental relaxation to re-settlers and to build goodwill towards security forces, 55 Division organized a mega musical show backed by the renowned musical group ‘Seeduwa Sakura’; coloured by rehabilitated Ex-combatant who sung together with veteran artists at Palai Public Ground on Wednesday (29).
This Musical Show was organized under the guidance of Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, Security Forces Commander, Jaffna and after the successful completion of three New Year Festivals organized by respective Brigades.
During the Show, 10 bicycles, 30 parcels of School Uniforms and 05 Solar panels were distributed among much needed, selected students in the area.
Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. I. Karunarathne, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Religious leaders and many other senior officers were present at the event.
