Over 100 Army Troops Donate Blood to Vavuniya District Hospital

Troops of the Security Force HQ -Wanni with the intention of replenishing blood stocks at the Vavuniya District Hospital gave blood to the Blood Bank at Vavuniya District Hospital during a programme at the Field Hospital of the Security Force Headquarters -Wanni on Saturday (24).

At the request of the Commander Security Forces-Wanni, Major General Champaka Ranasinghe, a group of 100 Wanni troops voluntarily came forward to donate their blood to the patients in the Wanni region. A medical team of the Vavuniya Hospital conducted the project.
