Outgoing Wanni Commander Makes Courtesy Visit

Major General Hemantha Bandara, Commander, Security Forces- Wanni on the eve of his departure from office at the SFHQ-Wanni made a formal visit to the 65 Division Headquarters on Sunday (26) prior to the formalities at the SFHQ -Wanni.

During the visit to the 65 Division, the Commander, Security Force (Wanni) was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding, 65 Division, Major General Anil Samarasiri before he was greeted to a Guard Turnout, presented by 19 SLLI troops at the entrance to the 65 Division HQ.

The visiting Security Force Commander planted a Mango sapling in the compound as memory and addressed all Ranks.
