The outgoing Assistant Defence Adviser at the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil on Thursday (30 Nov) extended his courtesies to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu at the Army Headquarters before his return to India after completion of his tenure in Sri Lanka.
During the brief meeting, both of them exchanged views on matters of general interest in the region and ever-growing bilateral relations between both military organizations.
Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil also expressed his gratitude to the Sri Lanka Army for all the support he received during his tenure and wished the Sri Lanka Army all the best in its future endeavours.
Towards the end of the interactions, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, Commander of the Army, appreciative of his relations and goodwill during his tenure, presented a memento to Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil as a token of appreciation.
