The finals of the Inter Regiment Badminton Championship – 2014 got underway at the Anuradhapura public ground during November 13 -14.
Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) emerged champions in the men’s category while Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) team became the runners-up.
In the women’s category, 4 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) carried the championship. The runner-up was 1 SLAWC.
Brigadier D.T Gamage, Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Badminton Committee and a group of senior officers watched the finals.
