The State Minister of Defence, Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon declared open the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Training Centre, Mullaitivu on 07 April 2024. This new facility will facilitate to train thousands of cadets, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future leaders of the nation. The centre's establishment complements the existing NCC Training Centre in Rantambe, further enhancing the NCC's mission in molding young cadets into responsible and capable leaders.
Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commander, Security Forcce - Wanni, Mr. Patrick Dirajan, Secretary, Ministry of Education, Northern Province, Senior Officers and Officers participated in the event.
