One More Session of 'Healthy Army-Healthy Nation' Held thru Zoom

The “Healthy Army-Healthy Nation” project of the Colombo Army Hospital, initiated a few years ago continued with its onward march by holding one more awareness programme through zoom technology on Wednesday (31).

Comprehensive lectures for the promotion of health prospects of Army personnel are delivered for the benefit of the Army personnel and their families through this project on a regular basis. Troops serving all island-wide Security Forces Headquarters, Divisional Headquarters, and Brigade Headquarters joined to listen to the sessions.

Consultant Physician Lieutenant Colonel (Dr) M.M.S Cooray gave an important lecture on ‘Diabetes and prevention from it'. Several other Consultants covered different other aspects and educated the troops.
