Troops of the 18th Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) serving under Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J) on direction of the Commander 551 Brigade Colonel H.M.W.K Herath organized a donation programme with the support of the Old Anandians group (Southern Province).
The project assisted by these Old Boys will definitely assist the promotion of goodwill.
Commander 551 Brigade Colonel H.M.W.K Herath graced the occasion as the chief Guest.
Chairman Old Anandians Southern Province Mr Isuru De Silva and his group, teachers, students and soldiers were participated for the event.
During the event 54 students were given school items and a computer donated to the School.
Alvai Ambal Vidyalaya is a remote school in Vadamarachichi area that provides education to students for low income families.
