An English proficiency course, meant to improve English standards among officers serving under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W), reached its successful completion on Wednesday (11).
The 25-day long course, organized on a proposal made by Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, SFHQ-W was followed by 18 officers. The final certificate awarding ceremony, headed by the Wanni Commander as the Chief Guest, got underway at the SFHQ-W auditorium.
Lieutenant D.M.T.S Dissanayake of 2 Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) was adjudged the best in the course and carried away the certificate and compliments.
