Now, Army Takes Lead in Giving Dry Ration Packs to 400 Families in Kokilai

Once again, South-based Thalagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation of Ven Thalagala Sumanaratana Nayake Thera and Tan Ngak Buay & Meng Lang Foundation Limited in Singapore at the request of the troops of the 593 Brigade under command to the 59 Division of the Security Force HQ- Mullaittivu assisted to distribute 400 dry ration packs among the 400 families in Kokilai area on 14 June after inviting beneficiaries to the Kokilai Government Tamil Mixed school.

The sponsorship for the programme was provided by the above Foundation as a part of their humanitarian programme which is conducted around the country.

The programme was conducted under directions of Major General Sanjaya Wanasingha, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittvu. 59 Division's GOC and 593 Brigade Commander were also associated with the distribution.
