Ms Grete Lochen, Sri Lanka’s Ambassador for Norway during a visit to the north called at the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) and Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) received updates on civil-military (CIMIC) relations in respective Kilinochchi and Jaffna areas.
Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN presented her with a detailed account of the roles and tasks of the Army in the area. The meeting ended with an exchange of mementos as gestures of goodwill.
During her visit to the Jaffna peninsula, she had a cordial discussion with Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, SFHQ-J) on the security situation and other development roles.
