Newly Appointed Chairman of Ranaviru Seva Authority Meets Army Chief

Major General S.U.M.N. Manage (Rtd) WWV RWP RSP psc, the Chairman of Ranaviru Seva Authority and one of the most senior veterans in the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment paid a courtesy call on Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters on 12 March 2024.

During a brief interactive meeting, the Army Chief extended his best wishes to retired Senior Officer for his well-deserved new appointment and further recalled about the his significant contributions to the Army, holding various responsible appointments during his career spanning over 35 years. Moreover, Major General S.U.M.N. Manage (Rtd) WWV RWP RSP psc briefed about the functioning of Ranaviru Seva Authority and its role and tasks. The Commander of the Army encouraged the newly appointed Chairman of Ranaviru Seva Authority to prioritize the further enhancement of welfare and wellbeing for retired, disabled and active members of the Tri-Services, Police and Civil Security Department as well as their families.

Major General S.U.M.N Manage (Rtd) WWV RWP RSP psc assumed duties as the 10th Chairman of Ranaviru Seva Authority on 02 February 2024.
