Major General Janaka Priyadharshana, the General Officer Commanding of the 66 Division who was recently promoted to the Rank of Major General was warmly felicitated and welcomed at the 66 Infantry Division Headquarters in accordance with military traditions at a special event that took place on 15th October 2022.
A Guard Turnout salute and a Guard of Honor parade, presented by 5 (Volunteer) Mechanized Infantry Regiment troops plus sapling planting and the troop address added colour to the felicitation ceremony.
All Brigade Commanders, Staff Officers, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the 66 Division attended the simple ceremony.
