New SLAOC Colonel Commandant Greeted at Regimental Centre

The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) Regimental HQ at Dombagoda presented military honours and warm greetings to the newly- appointed Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Brigadier Priyantha Weerasinghe, the Director Ordnance Services- at the Army HQ during a formal ceremony held on Tuesday (10) at the Regimental Headquarters SLAOC, Dombagoda.

On his arrival, the new Colonel Commandant Brigadier Priyantha Weerasinghe was warmly welcomed by Brigadier Ajith Munasinghe, the Centre Commandant at the entrance and invited him to receive the Guard Turnout salute.

Afterwards, the new Colonel Commandant placed his signature for an official document to symbolize the acceptance of his new office amid greetings.

Brigadier Priyantha Weerasinghe, the 24th Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps succeeds Major General Chandana Marasinghe who just retired from the service.
