THE new Overall Operations Commander (OOC) (Western Province and Puttalam District), Brigadier S.R Manawaduge assumed duties at his office on 10th December 2009 after a brief Buddhist Religious ceremony.
Brigadier Manawaduge who accepted the office from his predecessor, Major General A.M Perera is the fourth Commander at OOC office.
Brigadier A.M Weerasooriya, Commander, Operations Commander Colombo (OCC) and several senior officers attended the occasion.
