Troops of the newly-established Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) Regimental Headquarters at Karandeniya, Ambalangoda on Poya Day (Nov 10) conducted a ‘Shramadana’ (self-help) campaign and cleaned the Karandeniya District Hospital premises as a gesture of goodwill.
About 25 soldiers together with several officers took away garbage and cleaned the premises with the support of the minor staff in the hospital. The work lasted for about 7 hours.
