Brigadier P.J.P Gamage of Sri Lanka Light Infantry assumed duties as the 21st Director in the Directorate of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law on 18 November.
The newly-appointed Director left his signature for an official document at the auspicious minute after religious observances and symbolized the acceptance of the new office.
He succeeded Brigadier A.G.D.N Jayasundara who assumed office as the General Officer Commanding, 23 Division.
