New Director Welfare Assumes Office

Brigadier Sanath Aluwihare of the Gajaba Regiment assumed office on Wednesday (9) as the 33rd Director, Directorate of Welfare at the Army Headquarters during a brief ceremony.

After brief religious observances, the newly-appointed Director Welfare left his signature in an official document, signifying the acceptance of his new office.

Staff Officers in the Directorate and Other Ranks attended the inauguration of the new office.
