New Director Training Assumes Office

Brigadier P.K.S Nandana RSP USP psc of the Gemunu Watch assumed duties as the new Director Training at the Directorate of Training at Army Headquarters on Thursday (13 July) during a brief religious ceremony at the Army HQ.

The incoming new Director symbolically placed his signature for a formal document signifying the acceptance of the new appointment at the auspicious minute.

He succeeds Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP psc who has now been appointed as the General Officer Commanding of the 59 Infantry Division. The new Director, Brigadier P.K.S Nandana RSP USP psc served as the Assistant Military Secretary at the Army HQ prior to this appointment.

Soon after the assumption of duties, he spoke to the Officers and members of the staff and set out his vision for the Directorate in the future. Further, he met with Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Director General General Staff (DGGS) of the Army at his office and received his blessings.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Directorate of Training were present at the occasion.
