New Director Recruitment Assumes Office

Brigadier M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment assumed duties as the new Director of the Directorate of Recruitment on Thursday (July 06) during a brief religious ceremony at his office in Kohuwala.

The incoming new Director symbolically placed his signature for a formal document amid chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’ by members of the Maha Sangha signifying the acceptance of the new appointment at the auspicious minute.

He succeeds Brigadier E.A.P Ediriweera RWP ndc, who has now been appointed as the Project Officer of the Security Force HQ - Central. The new Director, Brigadier M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc served as the Brigadier (Training Concept & Monitoring) at the Directorate of Research Concept and Doctrine at the Army Headquarters prior to this appointment.
