Directorate of Real Estate and Quartering at Sri Jayewardenepura, Army Headquarters extended a warm welcome to its new Director, Brigadier S.P.G Gamage RWP RSP USP when he arrived there on Tuesday (18 July) to assume duties.
The new Director during a simple ceremony left his signature for an official document and signified the acceptance of his new duties in the presence of several Senior Staff Officers and Other Ranks.
Brigadier S.P.G Gamage RWP RSP USP was serving as the Brigadier General Staff of the Security Force Headquarters-West prior to this new appointment. He succeeded Brigadier D.R.N Hettiarachchi RWP RSP USP who has now been appointed as Commandant, Combat Training School, Ampara.
