New Director P & R Takes Office

Brigadier Priyantha Abeysingha of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) assumed office as the 20th Director in the Directorate of Pay and Records (P & R) at his office in Panagoda.

The newly-appointed Director left his signature on an official document symbolizing the acceptance of the new office amid religious observances. Prior to this new appointment, he served as the Director Army Benevolent Fund.

Staff Officers at the Directorate and Other Ranks joined the occasion. He succeeds Brigadier Palitha Hewawasam who just retired from the Army.
