New Director of Overseas Operations Assumes Office

Brigadier Asanga Perera of Sri Lanka Engineers Regiment assumed duties as the new Director at the Directorate of Overseas Operations at the Army Headquarters on Friday (4).

The newly-appointed Director left his signature for an official document after brief religious observances and symbolized the acceptance of the new office.

The new Director, Brigadier Asanga Perera succeeded Brigadier Rasika Kumara. Staff Officers and Other Ranks of the Directorate were present at the occasion.
