Colonel Udaya Kumar of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) assumed duties as the new officiating Director at Directorate of Internal Audit on Thursday (March 09) during a simple ceremony at his office in the Army HQ.
He marked the assumption symbolically by placing his signature in an official document, amidst chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’ by members of the Maha Sangha in the presence of several officers of the Directorate.
He succeeds Brigadier Malan De Zoysa who has now taken his duties as the Chief Accountant at the KDU Hospital.
