New Director at Dte of HR & HL Begins Duties

Brigadier Dinesh Udugama of Gajaba Regiment on Tuesday (3) assumed office as the new Director, Directorate of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (HR & HL) of the Army at the Army Headquarters during a brief ceremony.

Amidst chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’, he symbolized the assumption of his new office by placing his signature for an official document in the presence of several officers of the Directorate, HR & HL.

Soon after assumption of duties, Brigadier Dinesh Udugama spoke to the Officers and members of the staff and set out his vision for the Directorate in the future.
