New Director Army Dental Services Begins Office

Brigadier A.S.K Weerakoon USP of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps assumed duties as the new Director Army Dental Services at the Dental Institute, Colombo Army Hospital amidst a brief ceremony on Monday (8).

She succeeds Brigadier S.K Jayasinghe who has now been appointed as a Consultant in the Colombo Army Hospital.

Brigadier A.S.K Weerakoon USP after arrival at the new office placed her signature symbolically for an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office. Prior to this appointment, Brigadier A.S.K Weerakoon USP was serving as the Deputy Director Army Dental Services.

Senior Medical and Dental Officers, together with Staff Officers at the Directorate of Army Dental Services were present at the inauguration of her new office.
