New Director, Army Band & Performing Arts Begins Work

Brigadier P.R.B.A Bandara RSP of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry assumed duties as the new Director of the Directorate of Army Band & Performing Arts on Thursday (15 June) during a simple ceremony at his office in Ratmalana.

He symbolized the assumption of office by placing his signature in an official document in the presence of several Officers of the Directorate.

Adding memories to the day, he was invited to plant a sapling in the compound before he addressed the staff in the Directorate.

He succeeds Brigadier T.M Hettiarachchi RSP USP, who has now completed his service in the Sri Lanka Army.
