The new Defence Attaché at Sri Lanka's Embassy of Japan, 1st Lieutenant Gaku Fukaura made his maiden visit to the Army Headquarters today (22) and paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, together with the outgoing counterpart, Captain Atsuhiro Moroe.
The outgoing Captain Moroe thanked the Commander of the Army for all the assistance given by him during his tenure of office and introduced the incoming 1st Lieutenant Fukaura to the Commander. Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake appreciated the relations maintained by the outgoing Captain Atsuhiro Moroe during his period and recalled his cooperation for different Army assignments.
