The new ATM, installed by the People’s Bank at the request of the 53 Division Headquarters at Inamaluwa, Habarana along Trincomalee - Dambulla main road was opened on Monday (13) during a brief ceremony.
Provincial Manager for Matale Mr A.G Ranbanda, Major General Shavendra Silva, General Officer Commanding, 53 Division Headquarters, together with senior officials of the People’s Bank attended the occasion. Members of the Maha Sangha blessed the occasion chanting Pirith.
Earlier in January this year, a new building complex, consists of a welfare shop and a canteen was established at the same location with the purpose of facilitating both Army personnel and the general public in the area.
