Brigadier Upali Rajapaksha, the newly-appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 68 Division, visited the 682 Brigade Headquarters at Nanthikadal and other under command establishments on Wednesday (22).
The visiting GOC was welcomed by Colonel Chaminda Galappaththi, 682 Brigade Commander and awarded military honours in a Guard Turn Out and a Guard of Honour. Subsequently, he planted a sapling in the premises and added memories. A few minutes later, he addressed troops and met Officers where briefings were held. He also sat for a group photograph on the same occasion.
