Major General Ajith Dissanayake, General Officer Commanding of the 66 Division made formal visits to the 662 Brigade and its under command battalions, 20 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 20 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment after he assumed duties as the General Officer Commanding of the 66 Infantry Division on 01 February 2021.
The GOC was warmly welcomed by the Commander 662 Brigade Colonel Chaminda Liyanage on arrival at the Brigade Headquarters after a ceremonial Guard Turnout of 20 SLLI saluted him. Subsequently, the Brigade Commander and respective Commanding Officers comprehensively briefed the GOC about deployment, roles, tasks and routine operations in the areas.
